If you have not ridden a motorcycle with manual gears before, this is the training option for you.
Jude will introduce you to the controls of a motorcycle, how to move off, ride slowly in a straight line and stop safely. He will also cover riding through a curve, changing gears, and use of indicators, How and when to do a head check “lifesaver”, parking, and stopping in an emergency.
At the conclusion of the training, you can attempt the Basic Handling Skills Assessment.
Use of a motorcycle, helmet and gloves are included in the cost.
You are welcome to bring and use your own bike and helmet, but the motorcycle must be roadworthy, and a Learner Approved Motorbike. 'LAM's.
Note: Extra time may be required to meet the test criteria before you can be awarded a BHST certificate.
