New Rider
2hrs
If you have not ridden a motorcycle with manual gears before, this is the training option for you.
Jude will introduce you to the controls of a motorcycle, how to move off, ride slowly in a straight line and stop safely. He will also cover riding through a curve, changing gears, use of indicators, How and when to do a “lifesaver” check, parking, and stopping in an emergency. At the conclusion of the training, you can attempt the Basic Handling Skills Assessment. Use of a motorcycle, helmet and gloves are included in the cost. You are welcome to bring and use your own bike and equipment, but the motorcycle must be roadworthy, Learner Approved and of course you must have a trailer or a licensed rider to bring it to the testing location.
Note: Extra time may be required to meet the test criteria before you can be awarded a BHST certificate.
