1st Gear Motorbike Training

The Competency Based Assessment (CBTA) for your Restricted Motorcycle Licence.

This assessment will look at your safe riding skills and if you pass you will receive a certificate that you can use to apply for your restricted motorcycle licence at any Licencing Agent like AA or VTNZ. 

The appointment is for 90 minutes to allow for fitting of communication equipment and administration, but the assessment ride will be approximately 60 minutes. You must wear suitable protective clothing, an approved helmet, gloves and be in possession of your driver licence. You must ride a LAMS approved motorcycle with an approved L plate attached. The motorcycle must be Legal and in a warrantable standard. Registration must be current and displayed. If your machine is not compliant or your clothing is not appropriate, the assessment will not be conducted in the interests of your own safety.

Please note that NO training is included in this package. Extra Training can be added on request to ensure you are confident in your skills to pass.!
